Meet Tricia Pierce from the Comedy Lab Players!
Many moons ago, the incorrigible Tricia Pierce was born. She sprouted from a Cabbage leaf in the greater Los Angeles area (yes, there are a few of us from here). Tricia has been acting (and speaking in third person) since she was young. Her grandfather, a former actor, showed her the ropes and throughout her stunning high school career of musicals and very deep plays, she grew as an actor, and decided this was her calling. She attended California Institute of the Arts until 2004 when she graduated with the all coveted BFA in Acting. She has been keeping busy with short films, long films and many other lengths of films like, EVERYWHERE AND NOWHERE (Leala Saunders), DIRTY CHAT (Skie Darling), and the Famecast top three finalist, THE CHANGE UP (Jackie). During her stint at the Ark Theatre Company, she performed, as thongs of crowds may attest to, many brilliant performances. Who could forget her greatness in such shows as SODA POP (Susie), THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE ABRIDGED (Adam/ Tricia), and CLOSER (Anna). She also riveted audiences at the Next Stage Theatre in MONTY PYTHONG, THE RETURN(s), and THE IRON MAN SKETCH comedy shows. Most recently she Co-Founded the GYPSY THEATRE COMPANY, joined the COMEDY BROTHEL and BREVITYTV.COM (online sketch troupes similar to Mad TV) and starred in three episodes of an online cooking show where she did absolutely no cooking. And if that’s not enough, the Cartoon Network continues to clamor after her gorgeous voice for the animated show, BLUE DRAGON. She is a working actor and practicing human being. Both, to date, have been great. Labels: actress

Meet Jackie Gold from the Comedy Lab Players!
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, having a sharp sarcastic tongue, was natural and necessary for survival on those tough, middle class Jewish streets. A competitive dancer by age 8, Jackie traveled the country to New Jersey, taking home Gold and Bronze metals. This lasted 6 years. Going the traditional route of success, Jackie performed in all her High School theater productions, mostly playing a prostitute, because those are always the dancing roles. Then she received a memo that there were a shortage of actors in LA, and that her help here would be desperately needed. Not to let the rest of the country down, she packed her bags and tap danced across the country (skipping Texas) to achieve the American Dream in LA. She spends most of her time now whoring herself out to mass audiences of 20-30 people a night with her comedy. You may ( or may not) have seen her at The Improv, Comedy Store, and various bars scattered around Burbank and the former Route 66. If you watch a lot of TV, then you have definitely not seen her.
